Bajaj Auto has launched its Pulsar N250 and F250 bikes in India in a new blue shade. The color variant will be up for grabs in the next couple of days. The new paintwork has a glossy finish and is coupled with bronze accents as well as decals on the front and sides. However, the design, features, and mechanicals remain unchanged.

    Why does this story matter?

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 are good-looking vehicles with decent performance. The addition of a new color option should raise their appeal in the Indian market. The two bikes have been priced competitively on our shores and take on rivals such as the Yamaha FZ 25, Suzuki Gixxer 250, and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.

The bikes have a double-barrel exhaust and alloy wheels

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 have a muscular fuel tank, stepped-up split-style seats, a pillion grab rail, an upswept double-barrel exhaust, and arrowhead-shaped mirrors. The motorbikes pack an all-LED setup for lighting, a semi-digital instrument console, and ride on alloy wheels shod in tubeless tires. They can store 14 liters of fuel and have a ground clearance of 165mm.

They are fueled by a 24hp, 249cc engine

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 draw power from a 249cc, air/oil-cooled, 2-valve engine that generates a maximum power of 24.16hp and a peak torque of 21.5Nm. The mill is linked to a 5-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

The vehicles get 37mm front forks

In terms of safety equipment, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 are equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with single-channel ABS to avoid skidding on the roads while braking. Suspension duties on the motorcycles are taken care of by 37mm telescopic forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.

    How much do they cost?

In India, the blue-clad Bajaj Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250 sport a price-figure of Rs. 1.39 lakh and Rs. 1.41 lakh, respectively (both prices, ex-showroom). These prices are the same for other color variants as well.
