Bajaj unveils affordable Chetak 3001 at ₹99,990
Bajaj just dropped the Chetak 3001, an entry-level electric scooter priced at ₹99,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
It's the successor to the Chetak 2903 and rides on a new chassis.
With this launch, Bajaj is aiming to make electric mobility more attainable for a wider audience in India.
Practical features and decent range
The Chetak 3001 packs an anticipated 3.1kW motor and a 3kWh battery, giving you up to 127km on a single charge.
Fast charging gets you from zero to 80% in under four hours with its 750W charger.
You also get a color LCD display, sturdy full-metal body, and plenty of underseat storage—35-liter to be exact.
Budget-friendly electric scooter
With its price tag undercutting most petrol scooters and other electric rivals, the Chetak 3001 is definitely budget-friendly.
