Hyundai's Genesis brand to enter India by 2027

Hyundai is bringing its premium Genesis brand to India by 2027, aiming to shake up a market currently led by Mercedes, BMW, and Audi.
To keep prices in check, Genesis cars will be assembled locally using the CKD (completely knocked down) method, making luxury a bit more accessible.

Local production means lower costs—and possibly better prices—for Indian buyers looking for a mix of style and value.
The GV80 SUV is likely to be one of the first models here, with the possibility of G70, G80, G90 sedans, and GV70 SUV also in the mix.
Hyundai is promising "Elevated Luxury" for Indian consumers.
