Mercedes-Benz to launch CLA EV, G-Class Cabriolet in India

Mercedes-Benz is bringing some excitement to Indian roads in 2026 with two fresh launches: the all-electric CLA EV sedan and the G-Class Cabriolet.
The CLA EV arrives first, followed by the open-top G-Class later that year—both aiming to turn heads and offer something new for luxury car fans.

Key highlights: Range, power, and price

The CLA EV stands out with a sleek look, high-tech interior, and an impressive 792km range from its 85kWh battery—plus 272hp on tap. Expect it to be priced around ₹70 lakh.
Meanwhile, the G-Class Cabriolet keeps its iconic boxy style but adds options for electric and petrol engines (and maybe even an AMG version), with prices possibly reaching up to ₹4 crore.
Both models are part of Mercedes's strategy to expand their offerings in the Indian market.
