This one-off Rolls-Royce Spectre is dedicated to a pet dog
What's the story
Luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has unveiled a unique and bespoke version of its all-electric Spectre model, dedicated to Bailey, the beloved pet of an anonymous US-based family. The special edition features Bailey's portrait between the rear seats and his paw prints on the exterior. The car's color scheme is inspired by Bailey's appearance, with a dark tan roof called Crystal Fusion and lighter shades dubbed Beautiful Bailey.
Customization
Pet portrait took over 4 months to create
The portrait of Bailey, a Labrador-Golden Retriever mix, took over four months to create. It is made up of more than 180 pieces of veneer, including four individual pieces for the dog's tongue alone. The owners said they were thrilled with the results and appreciated Rolls-Royce's Bespoke Collective for their creative ideas that enhanced the customization experience.
Vehicle specifications
Rolls-Royce's 1st all-electric vehicle
The Spectre is Rolls-Royce's first all-electric vehicle. It packs two electric motors that generate a combined power output of 577hp, delivering a WLTP range of 529km. The special edition was created at Rolls-Royce's Private Office in New York City, where clients can work with designers to create their dream car over several months. While the base model starts at around $400,000 (roughly ₹3.5 crore), the bespoke version would be even more expensive.
