SKODA's popular SUV KUSHAQ to launch affordable variant
Skoda is set to drop a new, wallet-friendly version of its Kylaq SUV, aiming to make the lineup more accessible and boost its market share by 2026.
Brand Director Ashish Gupta says this move builds on the Kylaq's success in helping Skoda climb from 11th to 7th place in the rankings.
New Kylaq will come with several standard features
This fresh Kylaq fills the price gap between the Classic and Signature trims (currently ₹8.25-13.99 lakh), landing somewhere in between—likely about ₹1.60 lakh above the Classic.
Launching later this year, it'll come standard with six airbags, ABS, and traction control, plus handy extras like a tire pressure monitor and a seven-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Powered by a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine
No surprises under the hood—the new variant sticks with Skoda's reliable 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic options.
This keeps things simple for anyone looking for an affordable automatic SUV without missing out on key features.
