What's the story

British engineering firm Talos Vehicles has unveiled a new sports car, the XXT. The model is based on Ferrari's 599 GTB but offers improved performance and features. After two years of development, the company has finally revealed its creation. The XXT is street legal and packs a modified 6.0-liter V12 engine producing an impressive 674hp of power and 624Nm of torque.

Performance

The model can hit a top speed of 330km/h

The Talos XXT comes with an F1 Superfast six-speed paddle-shift transmission, with an optional manual gearbox. The car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds, hitting a top speed of 330km/h. It features a custom carbon-fiber body that mimics the styling of the Ferrari 599XX race car. The model also offers left- and right-hand configurations for added convenience.

Customization

Buyers can customize their cars as per preferences

The Talos XXT has 20-inch forged wheels and optional single-nut hubs. The company will produce only five units of this exclusive model, giving buyers the chance to customize their cars as per their preferences. Options include paint and interior trim (matte or gloss-finished). Engine, drivetrain and exhaust modifications are also available along with an optional roll cage and in-car entertainment choices.

Model evolution

Production of original Ferrari 599 GTB ended in 2012

Ferrari produced the 599 GTB Fiorano for five years, ending production in 2012. The car saw several variants over its lifespan, including a 599 GTO. It was replaced by the F12 Berlinetta. The Talos XXT starts at £950,000 ($1.24 million) and requires a donor car from Ferrari's 599 GTB line-up. Talos builds its cars at its Yorkshire facility in England.
