    What's the story

Triumph, in association with Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Breitling, has unveiled the Breitling Limited Edition of its Speed Twin motorbike. Its production is limited to just 270 units.

As for the highlights, the vehicle sports cosmetic changes and offers slightly revised hardware. It draws power from a 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, 8-valve engine that puts out a maximum power of 98.6hp.

    Context

    Why does this story matter?

The Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition has a regal look and will attract buyers who are willing to spend a pretty penny for exclusivity.

It is unclear whether certain units of the limited-run two-wheeler will be allocated for the Indian market. If it arrives here, fans of both Triumph and Breitling would race to get their hands on this special model.

    Design

The bike has a ribbed seat and hand-painted logos

The Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition sports hand-painted Breitling and Triumph logos on the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a ribbed black-colored seat with gray stitching, and a 'B' logo on the engine casing.

The bike has full-LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, an under-seat USB charging facility, and rides on cast aluminium alloy wheels.

It can store 14.5-liter of fuel and weighs 216kg.

    Information

    It runs on a 99hp, 1,200cc engine

The Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition is fueled by a Euro 5-compliant 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, 8-valve engine that puts out a maximum power of 98.6hp and a peak torque of 112Nm. The mill is linked to a 6-speed gearbox.

    Safety

    Three riding modes are offered

The Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with switchable ABS, switchable traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, and three riding modes (Road, Rain, and Sport).

Suspension duties on the bike are taken care of by 43mm inverted Marzocchi front forks and fully-adjustable Ohlins twin shock absorbers with gloss black springs on the rear.

    Information

Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition: Pricing and availability

In the US, the Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition sports a price-figure of $18,300 (around Rs. 13.6 lakh). However, the brand has not disclosed whether certain units of the motorcycle will arrive in India.
