What's the story

TVS Motor Company has revealed two exclusive 'Rann Utsav' edition motorcycles, based on the popular TVS Ronin model. The debut comes as a part of a collaboration with Gujarat Tourism and was unveiled at the ongoing Rann Utsav festival. The bikes seek to celebrate motorcycling and cultural heritage by integrating them with cultural tourism.

A blend of tradition and modernity

The TVS Ronin Rann Utsav edition bikes stand out with their unique design, inspired by Gujarat's rich cultural heritage. They flaunt custom graphics and patterns on the tank, front mudguard, and plastic side covers. Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business - Premium at TVS Motor Company, said these motorcycles bring the essence of Gujarati culture into their looks, giving a unique way to experience motorcycling in a heritage-rich environment.

Unique features of the Rann Utsav Edition

Apart from the custom graphics and artwork, the TVS Ronin Rann Utsav edition motorcycles also feature a unique paint scheme. It mirrors the hues of the White Rann and the festival's vibrant atmosphere. To set these models apart, exclusive 'Rann Utsav Edition' badging has been added. The bikes retain facilities like LED lighting, a custom exhaust, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, adjustable levers, and TVS SmartXconnect among others.

Engine specifications and pricing

The TVS Ronin 'Rann Utsav' Edition retains the 225.9cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine tuned for 20.1hp at 7,750rpm and 19.93Nm at 3,750rpm. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. The bike flaunts a T-shaped LED DRL, LED headlamp, two riding modes - Rain and Urban, adjustable levers, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The special edition model commands a ₹4,000 premium over the range-topping Ronin TD variant priced at ₹2 lakh (ex-showroom).
