VinFast will launch these cars in India next year

Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast is considering launching its entire global product portfolio in India. The company has confirmed plans to bring three new models here in 2026, including the seven-seat Limo Green MPV. To note, the announcement was made by the company in an official response to Hindustan Times.

Along with passenger vehicles, VinFast is also looking at other segments in India. The company has said it is "considering introducing electric buses and two-wheelers in India next year." This move is part of a broader strategy to explore all segments of the Indian market. However, specific details about pricing, localization plans, or dealership expansion are yet to be revealed by the company.

Limo Green MPV to compete with Kia Carens Clavis
The Limo Green MPV will take on the Kia Carens Clavis EV, which is currently the only electric MPV in its segment. The VinFast MPV is bigger than its competitor, measuring 4.7 meters in length, 1.8 meters in width and 1.7 meters in height with a wheelbase of 2.8 meters. It packs a front-mounted motor producing approximately 201hp and torque of up to 280Nm, paired with a battery pack that offers up to 450km range on a single charge.

VinFast's 1st models launched in India
VinFast has already started its India operations with the launch of two mid-size SUVs, the VF6 and VF7. These models mark the brand's entry into the Indian EV passenger car segment.
