44% of Indian techies use AI every day, survey finds

A new survey by ANSR and Talent500 shows that nearly half of India's tech workforce now uses AI daily to get their work done. Another 36% tap into AI occasionally.
Coding, research, and data analysis are the main areas where these tools come in handy, making day-to-day tasks a lot more efficient for professionals across both big cities and smaller hubs.

Most are self-taught, but roadblocks remain

Interestingly, over 70% of employees picked up their AI skills on their own—think YouTube tutorials—while only a third got formal training at work.
And while 44% have rolled out AI-driven ideas with their teams, many still hit roadblocks like lack of approvals or resources.
It's clear there's excitement around AI, but companies could do more to help everyone level up and innovate further.
