Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) just became the first Indian company to hit over 15,500 MW of renewable energy capacity—a big leap for India's clean energy sector.
They reached this milestone in record time, only 15 months after crossing the 10GW mark.

AGEL's current capacity and future goals

With a mix of solar, wind, and hybrid projects across 12 states, AGEL now powers about 7.9 million homes and cuts out nearly 29 million tons of carbon emissions every year—that's like taking over six million cars off the road or planting more than a billion trees.
AGEL isn't stopping here; they're aiming for a massive 50GW by 2030, showing serious commitment to a greener future.
