Here's how Airtel postpaid users can claim free Netflix subscription
Bharti Airtel recently partnered with Netflix to offer, its postpaid and broadband customers, free access to the streaming giant's content. And while the telco has now started to roll out the offer to its postpaid customers, it is yet to roll it out to its broadband subscribers. Notably, Airtel is offering free Netflix subscription on postpaid plans priced Rs. 499 and above. Here's more.
These Airtel plans offer free 3-month Netflix subscription
Airtel is offering free 3-month Netflix subscription with select monthly postpaid plans of Rs. 499, Rs. 649, Rs. 799, Rs. 1,199, Rs. 1,599, Rs. 1,999, and Rs. 2,999. Under this offer, subscribers of aforementioned plans will get access to Netflix's base plan of Rs. 500. This plan offers single-screen access and supports streaming of Standard Definition (SD) quality videos only.
Here's how you can avail the offer
Open your MyAirtel app and tap on the 'Airtel Thanks' banner. Then under freebies section, find 'Netflix gift worth Rs. 1,500' and tap on 'Claim'. Now, simply log-in with your Netflix credentials or create a new account if you don't have one. After logging in, your Netflix account should be credited with Rs. 1,500 which will be deducted against your 3-month membership.
After the free offer, your Airtel account will be charged
It is important to note that once your free 3-month offer expires, your Netflix membership will be charged through your postpaid Airtel account. Hence, if you don't wish to use Netflix beyond the offer, do not forget to unsubscribe your membership.
