Airtel revises V-Fiber broadband plans to take on Jio's GigaFiber
Bharti Airtel is pulling out all cards to take on Reliance Jio's potentially disruptive GigaFiber service. Alongside readying its own Android set-top box, the telco has now revised its V-Fiber plans to pass on more benefits to broadband subscribers. The plans, ranging across Basic, Entertainment, Premium and VIP tariffs, start from Rs. 799 and counter Reliance's upcoming fiber-to-the-home service. Here are the finer details.
Airtel's V-Fiber Basic Plan comes at a starting price of Rs. 799. Under this pack, you will get 100GB of internet speed at up to 40Mbps and unlimited free calling benefit. Additionally, the telco is also offering complimentary access to Airtel TV Premium and 200GB of bonus data that will be valid for six months.
For medium users, Airtel's has Rs. 1,099 V-Fiber Entertainment plan. It provides 300GB of high-speed data at up to 100Mbps speed. The pack also provides unlimited calling benefit as well as 500GB of bonus data. Further, the Premium pack, priced at Rs. 1,599, offers 600GB of high-speed data at up to 300Mbps speed, along with unlimited calling benefit and 1,000GB of bonus data.
Meanwhile, if you're looking for uncapped data access, the Rs. 1,999 V-Fiber VIP plan is best for you. Under this option, you get unlimited access to high-speed data at speeds of up to 100Mbps. And like other options, it also offers unlimited calling benefit.
Airtel's V-Fiber Entertainment, Premium, and VIP tariff plans come with all the benefits available under #AirtelThanks reward program. Hence, if you subscribe to any of these plans, you can avail a three-month complimentary subscription of Netflix, one year of Amazon Prime, and full access to ZEE5 as well as Airtel TV Premium.
