Alpaca aims at least tenfold India-Linked AUC growth next year
Business
Alpaca, a U.S.-based brokerage infrastructure company, is looking to boost its India-linked assets under custody by at least 10 times over the next year.
Cofounder and global chief executive Yoshi Yokokawa credits this ambitious goal to new partnerships as it prepares to take partners live through Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City).
He shared that India is quickly becoming a key market for Alpaca, saying, "India, relative to Alpaca, will be much larger than where it is today."
Alpaca Global AUC more than doubling
Alpaca's global AUC has been more than doubling year on year, and now India's set to play a bigger role.
The GIFT City collaborations are expected to ramp up Alpaca's presence here and make India's AUC cross into double digits in the next 12 months.
