Amazon grants $100,000 to trio of startups
Amazon India just wrapped up its Propel Global Business Accelerator Season 4, handing $100,000 equity-free grants to three standout startups: Auric, ISAK Fragrances, and Fix My Curls.
This year's program drew over 900 direct-to-consumer brand applications from all over India and narrowed it down to 54 finalists.
What is Amazon Propel?
Propel is Amazon's way of helping Indian startups go global. The package includes more than $1.5 million in perks—think AWS credits and six months of comprehensive support from Amazon's seller support teams.
Startups also get mentorship from Amazon leaders, VCs, and experienced founders. It all wraps up with a Demo Day where they can pitch for more funding.
Impact on India's startup scene
Propel aims to launch up to 50 Indian startups onto the world stage each season.
Picking winners from such a huge pool highlights how much impact the program has on India's startup scene—giving young brands real resources to grow internationally.
