Amazon India to increase seller fees: Here's what will change

Business

Amazon India is raising seller fees starting November 15, 2025.
Warehouse storage will now cost ₹50 per cubic foot each month (up by ₹5), and sellers won't get closing fee refunds when orders are returned.
These changes follow the festive sales rush and a referral fee cut back in September.

Amazon's revenue from seller services jumped 19% in FY25

To manage rising costs, Amazon is reducing the refund fee charged to sellers for high-return items like clothes and shoes.
While some sellers worry about higher expenses during slower months, Amazon's revenue from seller services actually jumped 19% in FY25 to ₹30,139 crore—and losses dropped sharply as the company tightened its costs.
The company is also expanding its quick commerce arm, Amazon Now.
