Amazon's grocery stores now let you shop online, too

Business

Amazon just rolled out a new way to shop at Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, blending Amazon Fresh staples with the store's usual organic picks.
Now, you can scan QR codes in-store to unlock thousands more products from Amazon's online selection—all without paying extra.

How it works

A micro-fulfillment center sits behind the scenes with items like Kraft Mac & Cheese or Nestle Drumsticks—stuff you usually don't find at Whole Foods.
ShopBot robots pick your order when you buy through QR codes.
You'll get a text when your groceries are ready for pickup at an Amazon counter inside the store—or you can have them delivered.
