Bank of Baroda crosses ₹30L/cr global business for 1st time

Bank of Baroda just crossed ₹30 lakh crore in global business for the first time, a big moment for one of India's major public banks.
As of March 31, 2026, their total business reached ₹30,78,854 crore, growing nearly 14% over last year thanks to strong gains in deposits and loans.
Bank of Baroda deposits up 12%
Globally, deposits went up 12% to ₹16.5 lakh crore and advances jumped over 16% to ₹14.3 lakh crore.
On the home front, deposits rose almost 13%, and domestic loans grew by about 15%.
Retail lending in India saw an especially sharp rise, up nearly 18%.
This steady climb highlights the bank's smart strategies and could boost its standing with investors going forward.
