Bank of Baroda raises $400 million with 5.318% 5-year bonds

Bank of Baroda has pulled in $400 million by selling bonds that will pay investors 5.318% interest over five years, with a 5-year maturity.
This fundraising is part of a bigger $4 billion plan and was done through the bank's unit in Gift City, Gandhinagar.

These bonds will be listed on major exchanges like Singapore and India INX, Gift City, making them accessible to global investors.
It's actually the second time recently that Bank of Baroda has done this: the first was a $300 million bond set to mature in 2031.
The back-to-back moves show the bank is serious about diversifying how it raises money and boosting its presence internationally, aiming for more stability and growth down the line.
