While Jio offers a bunch of prepaid plans, it hasn't fully ventured into the postpaid segment yet. Presently, the telco offers a single postpaid plan of Rs. 199. Under this budget option, you get unlimited calling benefits, 100 daily SMSes, and 25GB of data during one bill cycle (28 days). And, if you exhaust the data limit, you'll be charged Rs. 20 per GB
Airtel offers a bunch of postpaid plans starting from Rs. 399 but the Rs. 499 plan is complete for a medium user. Under this monthly plan, you get 75GB of high-speed data with rollover benefit, unlimited calling, and 100 daily SMSes. Additionally, the plan also comes with a 3-month complimentary subscription of Netflix and a free annual membership of Amazon Prime.
Like Airtel, Vodafone's postpaid plans also start for as low as Rs. 399 but the telco provides free Netflix benefits on premium plans starting at Rs. 999 per month. Meanwhile, the most balanced budget option is the Rs. 499 monthly plan which provides 75GB data with rollover benefit, unlimited calling, 100 daily SMSes and free 1-year membership of Amazon Prime.
Taking on the major private players, BSNL has also revised its plans to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Under the Rs. 525 postpaid plan, the state-run telco offers free unlimited calling, 100 daily SMSes and 40GB of total data for each billing cycle. Additionally, BSNL also gives free annual Amazon Prime membership worth Rs. 999 with postpaid plans starting Rs. 399.
