Bihar signs ₹51,600cr investment deals to boost industry and jobs
Big news for Bihar: on Thursday, the state signed deals worth a massive ₹51,600 crore to spark industrial growth and create more jobs.
The agreements cover everything from nuclear energy and steel to textiles, food processing, and pharma.
Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary is pushing to get these projects rolling fast so Bihar can level up its industry game.
Bihar steel firms, nuclear investments
Steel companies are making some of the biggest moves: Nakshatra Iron and Steel is putting in ₹6,836 crore, Ankur Steel adds ₹6,000 crore, and Shri Langta Baba Metals and Power chips in with ₹5,500 crore.
The largest chunk goes to a nuclear energy project by Global Renewable Advanced Clean Energy at ₹22,500 crore.
