Deepinder Goyal steps away from Eternal, promises explanation on X
Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has stepped away from his top roles at Eternal to go all in on Temple, his new health wearable venture.
He shared on X (formerly Twitter) that he'll soon explain why he left such a massive company, promising to clear up questions and share Temple's vision, especially after some pushback from Indian doctors.
Temple wearable raised $54 million
Goyal said he wanted the freedom to chase high-risk ideas that don't really fit with big public companies.
After he left on February 1, Albinder Dhindsa from Blinkit took over as group CEO.
Now, Goyal is focused on Temple's device, a wearable that tracks blood flow and brain signals using its own Brain Flow tech.
Priced at ₹85,000, it's already raised $54 million and aims to ship within three months if you book through their app or website.
