Gold and silver prices dip across cities on Dhanteras

Gold and silver prices took a small dip across big cities this Dhanteras; 22-karat gold in Delhi now costs ₹130,543 per 10gm, while 24-karat is at ₹142,515.
Silver also slipped a bit to ₹1,855 per kilogram in Delhi.
Similar trends popped up in Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
CAIT expects ₹60,000Cr gold silver sales
Even with these price changes, the shopping buzz is real. CAIT expects gold and silver sales to cross ₹60,000 crore nationwide.
AIJGF said demand for lightweight jewelry, silver coins and traditional gift items has increased in the market.
Markets are also looking positive overall as Dhanteras celebrations continue.
