Groww's profit jumps, even as revenue dips
Business
Groww just posted a 12% rise in net profit for Q2 FY26, hitting ₹471 crore—even though its revenue actually fell by nearly 10% to ₹1,019 crore.
The main reason? Last fiscal, the company handed out huge one-time incentives to its founders (₹614 crore in total), including CEO Lalit Keshre.
With no repeat of those big payouts this year, profits look much stronger by comparison.
Smart cost-cutting made a difference
Groww also trimmed its expenses significantly—down from ₹590 crore in Q2 FY25 to ₹433 crore in Q1 FY26.
This smart belt-tightening helped balance out the revenue drop and boosted profits.
Even with industry challenges from SEBI's new rules, Groww's focus on keeping costs low paid off this time around.
