Cyberabad police busted a big GST scam, arresting two men who set up 10 fake companies using forged IDs and documents.
By tricking the GST portal, they faked a turnover of ₹53.73 crore—without moving any real goods—and tried to claim ₹11.79 crore in tax credits from the government.

The duo, a financier from Gujarat and a Hyderabad resident, also created bogus e-way bills by tweaking vehicle details to make their transactions look legit.
The main mastermind from Delhi and two others are still on the run. Police are working to track down everyone involved.
