Gupshup, the conversational AI platform, saw its India revenue dip by 5.3% in FY25, down to ₹1,943 crore from ₹2,051 crore.
That drop meant profits were sliced in half, landing at ₹26 crore compared to FY24's ₹54 crore.
These figures only cover their Indian business and leave out what they earn globally.
Miscellaneous costs dominate at ₹1,245 cr
Most of Gupshup's spending went into miscellaneous costs (₹1,245 crore), likely payments to solution providers.
Employee benefits also grew 10% to ₹312 crore, with phone services and ads adding up to another ₹179 crore combined.
Their return on capital was 12.72%, and EBITDA margin stood at 3.91%.
With new CFO Ravi Dugar on board, Gupshup says it's focusing on tighter financial discipline and smarter growth going forward.
