HealthCare Global Enterprises Q2 revenue ₹731.8cr, adjusted PAT down 9.3%
Business
HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG) saw its second-quarter adjusted profit after tax drop by 9.3% to ₹19.2 crore, mainly due to a one-time tax adjustment last year.
Despite this, the company's revenue jumped 15.8% to ₹731.8 crore as more patients came in for advanced cancer care.
HCG operating EBITDA up 17.2%
HCG boosted its operating profits (EBITDA) by 17.2%, with margins also improving thanks to better cost control across hospitals.
The growth came from a 9% rise in patient volumes, a 7% increase in average revenue per patient, and a big jump (37%) in robotic surgeries this quarter.
Their international business also took off, with overseas revenues up 54%, showing HCG is making solid progress beyond India too.
