India's working on trade agreements with 50 different countries right now, according to Union Minister Piyush Goyal.
Deals have already been sealed with Australia, the UAE, Mauritius, the UK, and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

Building global connections—With fairness in mind
Goyal also mentioned ongoing discussions with Oman, Bahrain, Qatar—and even a possible group deal with the Gulf Cooperation Council.
He highlighted that India's reviewing older agreements with ASEAN and South Korea and is actively talking to the US and New Zealand too.
Goyal stressed these partnerships should be built on fair trade practices so everyone benefits moving forward.
