Big investments like Vertelo's $405 million and Micro Life's $300 million show just how much faith investors have in Indian startups right now.

India holds its ground

India made up 8% of global VC deals and held onto its competitive edge, even as places like the US and UK saw deal numbers drop.
While those markets had more money flowing but fewer deals, India kept both rising.
