IndiGo to compensate passengers for canceled, delayed flights

IndiGo is giving out compensation after a wave of flight cancelations and delays earlier this month.
If your IndiGo flight was disrupted on December 3, 4, or 5, you could get a ₹10,000 travel voucher plus extra cash—up to ₹10,000 more—following a government directive.

How the refunds are rolling out

Right now, IndiGo is reaching out first to people who booked directly on their website—they have your info handy and are contacting you about how to claim your compensation.
If you booked through an online travel agency (OTA), things might take longer since refunds have to go through those platforms.
The aviation regulator DGCA is keeping an eye on the process so everyone gets what they're owed.
