Infosys has taken its rivalry with Cognizant up a notch, naming two top Cognizant execs in a US antitrust lawsuit.
The Indian IT giant claims Surya Gummadi and Kathryn Diaz played key roles in anti-competitive moves after Cognizant bought TriZetto.
If Infosys wins, the damages could be much higher than usual.

A big sticking point is over documents—Infosys wants files tied to past lawsuits and records from the named execs, but Cognizant isn't budging.
There are also accusations that a former Infosys leader slowed down a project before jumping ship to Cognizant.
Meanwhile, Cognizant denies all wrongdoing and says Infosys actually copied their ideas.
The court has suggested both sides try settling out of court instead of dragging things on.
