Karnataka plans 1000cr fund, earmarks 200cr
The state isn't stopping there. Karnataka is mapping out where water and power are most available, building a heat map to guide future projects.
There's also a ₹1,000 crore startup fund in the works (with ₹200 crore earmarked), plus the Nipuna Edge program aiming to skill up around 10,000 final-year students and young professionals and set up AI labs in about 50 colleges across Karnataka.
All this cements Bengaluru's spot as India's top AI hub while opening doors for young talent statewide.
