Lenskart to debut on Monday: GMP falls sharply
Business
Lenskart, the popular eyewear brand, is about to make its stock market debut on November 10, 2025.
While its IPO drew massive interest—bids topped ₹1 lakh crore and it was oversubscribed 28.3 times—the gray market premium has dropped sharply, now at around ₹6.5 per share above the issue price of ₹402.
Institutional demand was strong
Despite worries about high valuations, investors showed up in force: institutional buyers subscribed 45 times over, and retail demand was strong too.
In total, people bid for 281 crore shares when only about 10 crore were available—a clear sign that many believe in Lenskart's growth story, even with some last-minute jitters around its listing price.
