Mumbai just took the crown as India's top data center city, with 774 MW of operational IT power and almost 5 GW more on the way.
Globally, it's ranked 15th for current capacity and 11th for what's coming next, according to Knight Frank's Global Data Centre Atlas 2026.
This puts India firmly on the map as digital demand (think AI and cloud) keeps booming.
