NCLT pauses Think & Learn insolvency over ₹11,433cr trustee claim

BYJU'S just got a break from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which has paused the insolvency bidding for its parent company, Think & Learn.

This happened after founders BYJU Raveendran and Riju Ravindran raised concerns over a massive ₹11,433 crore claim filed by US lenders' trustee, saying it needed a closer look before moving forward.

No bids until August 31

The NCLT told the resolution professional not to invite bids or finalize any potential buyers until August 31.

Basically, everything's on pause while the tribunal checks if this huge claim is legitimate and decides what happens next with BYJU'S future.
