NewCore raises $66 million seed to secure AI agent access
Cybersecurity startup NewCore just scored $66 million in seed funding to help companies manage the growing number of AI agents in the workplace.
Led by Cyberstarts and backed by Index Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners, this round puts NewCore's value at $300 million.
Their goal? Make sure businesses can keep track of who (or what) has access, as AI agents become more common on the job.
NewCore controls human and AI identities
co-founder and chief executive Zohar Alon, chief technology officer Amihai Neiderman, former Unit 8200 research leader and founder of healthcare AI startup Nym Health, and Chief commercial officer Erez Yarkoni, who previously served as CIO of T-Mobile USA and Telstra, NewCore's platform lets companies control both human and AI identities from one place.
It offers security features like split-key architecture and lets employees monitor or cut off AI access right from a mobile app, even for coding assistants like OpenAI's Codex.
The platform is still in early use with a handful of clients but expects to begin charging customers this summer.
As a spokesperson put it, we want organizations to scale their use of AI agents without compromising security or control.
