Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Russian government. The deal will help the Indian conglomerate enter Russia and promote health and wellness, including yoga and Ayurveda. The agreement was signed by Ramdev himself and Sergey Cheremin, Chairman of the Indo-Russia Business Council.

Ramdev said Russians value and practice yoga, Ayurveda, and naturopathy. He added that their main aim is to take this wellness science to nearly 200 countries with Russia as the entry point.

The MoU also focuses on sharing India's spiritual knowledge, culture, yoga, Ayurveda with Russia. Ramdev said India's cultural and sage traditions will be taken to Russia under this agreement. The MoU also includes a provision for promoting leading Indian brands in Russia and vice versa. Cheremin said they will strengthen their partnership with Patanjali through this agreement. He added that by adopting Patanjali's yoga, Ayurveda, and naturopathy practices, they hope to improve the lifestyle of Russians making them healthier and disease-free.
