Sberbank plans to establish largest Russian business hub in India
Sberbank, Russia's biggest bank, just announced plans to establish its largest Russian business hub in India.
The idea is to make it easier for Russian and Indian companies to work together, with CEO Herman Gref pointing out its 16-year history in the country.
Sberbank plans to build new financial and technology infrastructure tools as well as establish the largest Russian business hub in India.
Two central Delhi buildings acquired
The hub is designed for Russian firms entering India and Indian companies doing business with Russia, offering support for tens of thousands of corporate clients already doing international business.
Sberbank has also acquired two office buildings in central Delhi, which are already under construction, set to open by 2028 as its headquarters and a space for collaboration.
Plus, money transfers between the countries now take just minutes, making global business a lot smoother.
