    What's the story

    On Wednesday, major indices of the Indian stock market ended flat but in the green with the Sensex settling at 73,852.94 points and the Nifty closing at 22,402.4 points.

    The midcap indices showed bullish signals with the Nifty Midcap 50 rising 0.87% to 13,901.8 points.

    Gainers and losers

    Who were the biggest winners and losers on Wednesday?

    As far as the top sector gainers are concerned, NIFTY METAL, NIFTY PSE and NIFTY COMMODITIES topped the list, edging up 2.62%, 1.57% and 1.04%, respectively.

    Top stock gainers were Hindalco, Cipla and JSW Steel, which climbed 3.97%, 3.82% and 3.68%, respectively.

    TATA Consumer Products, Grasim and Tech Mahindra were trading among the top stock losers on Wednesday, shedding 5.39%, 1.37% and 1.21%, respectively.

    Meanwhile, the Asian markets on Wednesday ended in the green. Shanghai Composite, Hang Seng, and Nikkei climbed 0.75%, 2.16%, and 2.36% to settle at 3,044.82, 17,201.27, and 38,460.08 points, respectively. In the US market, NASDAQ ended on a strong note, surging 245.33 points to 15,696.64.

    Forex report and gold, silver, crude oil futures

    The Indian rupee gained 0.04% to end at ₹83.32 against USD in the forex trade on Wednesday.

    Not much movement was witnessed in the gold and silver futures prices as they were trading flat. While the gold price settled at Rs. 70,855, the price for silver ended at Rs. 80,530.

    The crude oil futures also traded flat to settle at $83.09 per barrel.

    Here are the fuel prices in Delhi and Mumbai

    Fuel prices in Delhi remained steady on Wednesday with diesel priced at ₹87.66 per liter and petrol at ₹94.76 per liter. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, diesel is selling for ₹92.13 per liter and petrol for ₹104.19 per liter.

    How have the popular cryptocurrencies moved today?

    Bitcoin is selling at $66,410.25, up 0.36% from yesterday. Ethereum is up 2.78% and is selling at $3,262.40.

    Tether, BNB, and Cardano are priced at $0.9999 (0.05% down), $612.67 (1.23% up), and $0.4973 (3.98% down), respectively.

    Up 1.79% than yesterday, Dogecoin is trading at $0.1614.
