As far as the top sector gainers are concerned, NIFTY MEDIA, NIFTY FIN SERVICE, and NIFTY REALTY topped the list, edging up 2.23%, 1.92%, and 1.5%, respectively. INR climbs by 0.09% against the US Dollar

On Wednesday, the Indian rupee (INR) edged up 0.09% to Rs. 75.91 versus the US Dollar in the forex trade. Meanwhile, both gold and silver futures witnessed a rise. The price of gold futures rose 0.58% to Rs. 51,110, while that of silver futures climbed 0.57% to Rs. 67,326. The crude oil futures edged up by $2.11 or 2.02% to $106.31 per barrel.

In Delhi, fuel prices witnessed a hike with the diesel price rising by 0.86% to Rs. 92.31/liter and the petrol rate soared 0.79% to Rs. 101.05/liter. In Mumbai, the diesel rate climbed to Rs. 100.08/liter and petrol saw a Rs. 0.84 rise to Rs. 115.86/liter.
