Sensex, Nifty slip a bit after choppy day; Adani, Sun Pharma shine

After a rollercoaster session on Friday, both Sensex and Nifty closed just a touch lower—ending their two-day winning streak.
Still, they managed to notch up a 0.5% gain for the week and rose 2% over the month, so not all bad news.

Sectors and stocks: Some winners, some losers

Pharma, media, and auto stocks saw small gains (up to 1%), while power, oil & gas, and telecom slipped.
Adani Enterprises and Sun Pharma stood out as top gainers on the Nifty.
Meanwhile, Nectar Lifesciences jumped 20% after the board said it will consider a share buyback, and Sudeep Pharma's stock soared 30% on its market debut—a big day for those companies even as the rupee hit another record low against the dollar.
