The company that sells the entry-level E2O electric vehicle has showcased the Halo sportscar concept recently.

Mahindra & Mahindra's Chief Executive for Automotive Pravin Shah has reportedly stated they were also considering electrification of the company's KUV model.

He said Verito electric addresses the needs of a possible buyer while the electric compact SUV would cater to the needs of those keen on driving as an experience.

The move is expected to give a fresh boost to Mahindra Electric that is currently focusing on global markets.

  • Mahindra is reportedly considering the possibility of a KUV CNG version.

It is expecting annual sales of at least 6,000 units each for the CNG and electric versions of its KUV.

According to experts, the electric version of KUV could take over the market as the most affordable SUV.

Mahindra Electric is focused on selling E2O to fleet operators while testing its four-door variant.

However, Ford had dropped out of the group as it was exploring the EcoSport electric option.
