TMTG investors lost over $2.2B, Donald Trump's $460 million stake fell
Trump's media company, TMTG, has seen its investors lose more than $2.2 billion since 2021, mostly because share prices tanked and revenue didn't really grow.
Even with all this chaos, Donald Trump himself is still sitting pretty with his $460 million stake, whose value has declined sharply.
Some investors such as Ske Jarzenske have taken especially hard hits, seeing their holdings drop by 88.5%.
Investors cite TMTG transparency concerns
A lot of the frustration comes from how TMTG is being run and a lack of transparency about what's really going on behind the scenes.
The company says merging with TAE Technologies will help boost value for shareholders, but it has responded to investor complaints by disputing the methodology.
Disappointing results from Truth Social and failed crypto projects haven't helped win back any trust either.
