Trump Media to invest ₹1L crore in city near Hyderabad

Trump Media has announced a massive investment of ₹1 lakh crore in Bharat Future City, a planned city on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The announcement was made by Eric Swider, Director at Trump Media & Technology Group Corp, and confirmed by Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of Telangana. Swider said he intends to invest up to ₹1 lakh crore into the future city and its developing area over the next decade.

Investment to focus on real estate and technology
The investment by Trump Media will be directed toward real estate, infrastructure development, and technological advancements in Bharat Future City over the next 10 years. This was confirmed by Jayesh Ranjan during his address at the Telangana Rising Global Summit. The summit also saw investments worth ₹1.5 lakh crore in energy and ethanol production sectors from various companies including Axis Energy Ventures India (₹31,500 crore), Ecoren (₹16,000 crore), and Greenko Energies (₹24,000 crore).
Future plans
Telangana's vision for AI city
Telangana's IT Minister D Sridhar Babu announced that the state government will promote an AI city in Bharat Future City. The Telangana Rising 2047 Vision document, which outlines plans to make Telangana a $3 trillion economy in 20 years, will also be unveiled at the summit. This strategic plan was prepared in collaboration with NITI Aayog and the Indian School of Business.
