What's the story

In a bid to attract postpaid subscribers in India, Vodafone has launched a limited edition RedX plan in the country. The premium postpaid plan promises to offer upto 50% faster data speeds along with benefits such as free calling and SMSes. Alongside these freebies, the plan also comes with bundled benefits worth over Rs. 20,000. Here's all about the plan.

General benefits

The plan offers 150GB of data per month

The Rs. 999 RedX postpaid plan offers unlimited data benefit but with an FUP limit of 150GB per month and 50% higher speed over other postpaid plans. The company is also offering a premier customer service for RedX customers. Further, subscribers will get unlimited voice calls within India along with ISD calls chargeable at 50 paise per minute and 100 free SMSes.

The plan also offers an annual Netflix subscription for free

Alongside the data and calling benefits, the RedX postpaid plan also comes bundled with yearly subscriptions of Netflix (Rs. 499 worth Basic plan), Amazon Prime, ZEE5, and Vodafone Play. Moreover, subscribers can also avail a 7-day international roaming pack worth Rs. 2,999 for free.

Vodafone's RedX plan's users will also get free airport lounge for four times a year (once per quarter) at both domestic and international airports. Subscribers will also be entitled to upto 15% percent discount on hotel bookings through Hotel.com and on ticket bookings for select attractions. Lastly, RedX customers will get special discounts on select Samsung smartphones via the Samsung India online store.

Process

How to apply for RedX postpaid plan?

The RedX postpaid plan is available for "limited customers on the basis of first come first serve" via the company's website or My Vodafone app. Notably, the minimum period of subscription is for six months, and if the subscriber wants to exit within that period, they will be charged a minimum of Rs. 3,000, according to Vodafone's terms and conditions.
