Wipro appoints Angan Guha as Americas 2 president and CEO
Wipro just announced Angan Guha as president and CEO for its Americas 2 unit, starting December 8, 2026.
He will be leading growth efforts in key sectors like BFSI, Energy & Utilities, and Manufacturing across the region, with a big focus on building stronger customer connections.
Angan Guha returns to Wipro
Guha brings more than 30 years of experience, including Global CEO & Managing Director of Birlasoft Ltd. and is actually returning to Wipro after holding senior roles there before.
He says he's excited to rejoin during "The evolving AI landscape presents unprecedented opportunities for businesses to innovate and lead," aiming to work closely with the team on fresh innovation.
Guha studied electronics engineering in Pune and completed management programs at Chicago Booth; he will report to the CEO and MD, Srini Pallia.
