In '83', Ranveer plays former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev
On Monday, Ranveer took to Instagram to share a refreshing picture of himself, wherein he can be seen dressed in a Test cricket uniform, and depicting the popular Natraj shot in the iconic Kapil Dev style.
The shot is called so, as it is reminiscent of the dancing Nataraja.
Fellow actors, including Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet, Saqib Saleem, Dia Mirza poured in their comments.

Preparation
Ranveer and team trained rigorously for '83
Ranveer, along with fellow '83 actors, went under rigorous training for the sports flick.
As part of the preparation, he lived with the legendary skipper at his residence in Delhi.
Moreover, he also trained with Kapil at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.
Talking of his excitement to portray Kapil on big screen, Ranveer once said, "He (Kapil) is a legend in the truest sense."

'83' will hit the theaters on April 10, 2020
Directed by Kabir Khan, and bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment, '83 chronicles India's maiden Cricket World Cup victory back in the year 1983.
The film also stars Deepika Padukone, as Kapil's wife Romi.
The ensemble cast includes Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Amrita Puri, Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, and Sahil Khattar.
It is set to release on April 10, next year.
