Ailing Irrfan Khan marks the beginning of a new 'Karwaan'
Irrfan Khan, who is reportedly in the United Kingdom for the treatment of his rare disease - neuroendocrine tumor, has returned to Twitter after a brief hiatus. Giving a shout out to new beginnings, Irrfan shared the poster of his next release 'Karwaan'. The 'Hindi Medium' star also reflected upon his own struggle in the tweet.
Here's what Irrfan wrote
'Karwaan' is a light-hearted comedy
'Karwaan' follows the story of three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a bizarre journey. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan and Marathi actor Mithila Palkar. Directed by debutante Akarsh Khurana, 'Karwaan' is slated to hit the screens on August 10.
It will be Irrfan's second release of 2018
Irrfan's first release of the year was 'Delhi Belly' director Abhinay Deo's 'Blackmail', which could not do much at the box office. Irrfan had made sure that the release of 'Blackmail' was not delayed due to his illness.
Irrfan had revealed his disease on Twitter
On March 5, Irrfan took to Twitter to share that he is suffering from a "rare disease" and promised to divulge more information soon. Days later, he revealed that the disease is neuroendocrine tumor, which made his fandom restless as to whether the actor will be able to recover or not.
