Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt recently opened up about her relationship with husband-actor Ranbir Kapoor. Speaking on the talk show Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle, she said their bond is more than just a romantic one. "Ranbir and I have a natural friendship, so it was never this like dewy eye or rose-tinted glasses sort of relationship," she said.

Bhatt further emphasized that their relationship is based on friendship. "There was a relationship of best friends. Of course, I married him for a reason because I think he's wonderful to me and just as a human being." She added, "But 100% the person I love trolling is him, and the person he loves trolling the most is me."

Why Bhatt-Kapoor opted for a private wedding
Bhatt also shared why she and Kapoor opted for a private wedding. "It's just who we are. We are homebodies, very socially awkward, and we were like 'It's our wedding day and we just want the closest people in our lives with us.'" The couple got married in April 2022 after dating for several years. They welcomed their first child, daughter Raha, in November 2022.

On the work front, Kapoor will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, which also stars Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. The movie will be released in two parts. Meanwhile, Bhatt and Kapoor will also share the screen with Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War next year.
